Dang! We gave away the answer to our question – in our question! The answer is the heater, of course! But it’s just one of the reasons. The cold in Iceland is thrilling, chilling, and exciting. Even our summers are relatively cold.
The heater is our gift to you to keep you warm – a gift of warmth included in your bill. Plus, all you hotties get the benefit of a fridge and a 2-ring gas stove that no other campervan offers. Want to do some jumping around? The Volkswagen Crafter 4x4 campervan offers you a full-on standing height, and bunk beds!
The heating system works on an external battery, meaning that for about 3 hours of driving, the battery is charged for about 8 hours of heating.

So, you aren’t a great driver? That’s not a big deal when you are driving in Iceland in the Volkswagen Crafter 4×4 camper. Now you don’t have to worry about shifting gears. But we’ve also taken precautions just in case your driving is so terrible that you still manage to bang up your automatic transmission campervan.

While this camper doesn't come equipped with a shower or toilets, you shouldn't worry about it since wild camping in Iceland is forbidden, you will have access to showers, toilets in almost all campsites.
